Suzani the other name of interior decoration
Now a day’s people are showing their interests towards the handmade things. Therefore once again the handmade materials getting their demands back. All over the Central Asia suzanis are present with several of designs, motif and colour. Suzani is mainly present in Uzbekistan, Bukhara, Samarkand, Shakhrisabz and Khiva. Suzanis are mainly of nomadic and urban traditions. They are present from the 19th centuries, but it seems that they came into existence before 19th centuries. They made their materials by using cotton, silk and fabric base, which is embroidered in silk or cotton thread.

Suzani was started by a group of women to get relieved from their poverty. But later on the woman of Uzbekistan had taken it as their professional of earning money. They called Suzani as Uzbek Suzani. They can make many things of their own. They produce the design of their own which are very famous to the outside world. They made prayer rugs, saddlecloths, cradle covers, mirror cases, yurt bands, tent flaps, salt bags, gift wraps, bed covers, table cloths, hangings, etc. the design of this textile is very unique. They produce there design by stitching two or more numbers of cloth pieces. All the products which they use to produce are get hallmarked by a particular central roundel called Palak. They considered palak as a heavenly orb. Suzani is one of the oldest techniques of producing cloths.
